Ollie W (de) wrote: It's Haneke's own brand of sociological cynicism, seen in the stripped-down highly focused perfection of the first two instalments of his revered and unpleasant trilogy, directed towards the rejection of consumerism and the sometimes hideous effects of the media and now fired with cool disdain at the general decline of society in modern Europe. All in all, a fascinating, deeply unsettling, generally gruelling effort from the master of cool, detached violence.

Holly F (kr) wrote: A beautiful movie, I'm glad that a new Hercules movie was made and a better one at that. Although the Hercules tv series will always be the best. We get to see the tragedy of Hercule's past and his relationship with the golden deer woman.

Natalie O (mx) wrote: Super sweet, maybe too much so, but still lovely. Mark Ruffalo is outstanding in his role and the relationship with his daughters was touching.

Talon D (kr) wrote: I've always loved the Garfield comics from when I was fairly young and so I love Garfield in general; and this movie really does the character well from the comics. Although I don't really think he needed to sing and dance as much, (as that's not in the comics too often) this movie had a lot of pretty funny parts in it and Garfield was just hilarious. I also really enjoyed Breckin Meyer and Jennifer Love Hewitt as Jon and Liz. Although I do think Jon is way more dorky in the comics, they made this as well as they could in a movie form. Definitely maybe could have been better in some aspects, but I still found it pretty decent. I just like to see Garfield hanging out at home actually, but that wouldn't have made a pretty good plot.
