Anselm V (us) wrote: Terrible story, the plot is very boring. Also doesn't make sense. All featured characters are portrayed as pathetic and have stupid sounding voices. Doesn't have any resemblance to FF7. I couldn't even watch half it was so bad. Does not do one of the the best games of all time ANY JUSTICE. Could have been SO MUCH BETTER
George M (de) wrote: A portentous, pretentious film that draws on Fellini's 8 1/2, Bergman and Woody Allen but never manages to become an original, coherent piece on its own. The work is so fragmented and delights so much in its own playful fragmentation that it becomes tedious in the end and whatever existential message it contains feels convoluted and shallow. Charlie Kaufman, who is famous for bringing post-modern sensibilities in screenwriting to Hollywood audiences, gives in under his own ambition here. The actors are doing some excellent work though and they are the only reason to see the film.
Ashley H (au) wrote: Here on Earth is a disappointing film. It is about a rich college kid who is taught a lesson after a joy ride ends up destroying a country restaurant. Chris Klein and Josh Hartnett give horrible performances. The script is badly written. Mark Piznarski did a terrible job directing this movie. I was not impressed with this motion picture.

Brandon W (ca) wrote: Kindergarten Cop is a really great movie that is a bit darker then I would've thought that takes place during an elementary school. Arnold Schwarzenegger is really good in it, and do are the little kids which very rare that it's done, while being internationally annoying also. The characters are memorable, and they give off some lines that are really funny, even memorable at times. The villains are decent, and it's a bit different to see what their motivation is. The technique that the cop does with calming the kids down was different and interesting that I'm kind of surprised that teachers haven't done that before. The action is good, and I'm glad that it's a bit muted so that the movie can focus on the school and the chemistry between the cop and one of the teachers. It's a bit unpredictable and it's really funny enough that I was pretty entertained by it.
