A mobster sets him up with a blonde who is to use him to get the security codes to rob a jewelry store, and then frames him for the theft. I found that this was a statement about the frustration of a powerless working class citizen versus the wealthy class of mobsters and corporates who use and abuse him for their own ends. Check it out if it sounds interesting.

Senor C (gb) wrote: I really like Vigilante films so how could I go wrong w/ one that actually has the name 'Vigilante' w/ Fred Williamson & Robert Forster? Tired of the unbalanced scales of justice they take the law into their own hands & beat the living shit out of or kill the scum of New York. Directed by William Lustig there is alot of grit on this flix but not as much as his previous film Maniac. If you liked Death Wish there is no reason why you shouldn't be thrilled w/ this.
