Deb S (au) wrote: The movie is typical Disney fare starring Debby Ryan as Abby who is celebrating her 16th birthday. She wants it to be the perfect day but things start out all wrong, until she receives a box of Sweet 16 Birthday Candles, each of which corresponds to a wish on her list. As her wishes come true, her day gets better and better until she makes a wish that changes everything and helps her finally understand that being a kid isn't so bad. Responsibilities will come soon enough. 16 Wishes conveys positive messages about being a good friend, being careful what you wish for, and remembering the important things in life. Also, Abby learns that being a kid has its perks, and there is no need to grow up too fast. Cute and fluffy! Teens would love it.

Rolf H (mx) wrote: A near perfect mix of homage and satire of 70's Blaxploitation movies. I've seen it at least a dozen times and it keeps getting funnier. One friend with whom I watched it actually thought it was from the 70's.

Kenny K (gb) wrote: Where's the crackerjack tension and performances that characterized the first film? It's gone. In fact, it's like the first film never even happened.

Tammy H (br) wrote: First of all, the very first sentence of the Synopsis is: "Macaulay Culkin lookalike (and soundalike) Mike Weinberg" couldnt be further from the truth. His dark hair and brown eyes are far from the original blonde haired, blued eyed Kevin. Divorcing the McAlisters was another mistake, and the plot....well....there was no plot. The title is Home Alone...but the kid isnt alone. The 24% audience score is actually generous. I'd give it a negative vote, if I could. Avoid this one. It's worse than Howard The Duck.

Yanti A (ag) wrote: I never thought I was ever going to watch a movie with 4% rating in RT. And I sure wouldn't see any if it's not for Julianne Moore.for half of the movie, I was thinking, "This is not that bad. How could this only have 4% on RT?" but THEN, when the story went from psychological thriller to witchy horror movie, I started to understand because all the other half way down the end, I was repeatedly saying, "What. The. Hell??" and "What. The. Fuck?!"But still, giving this 4% is a bit harsh. You need to consider the acting skill of Moore and Rhys Meyer. Which is nothing but awesome.

Jocey D (nl) wrote: Entertaining and uplifting as I was expecting from this movie. Good moves and good music. Good portrayals. I'd love to work in such a place where the bonds of sisterhood are strong and tight.

Choen L (it) wrote: A very Mike Judge sort of show. It offers more than what the production budget allows. It is not easy to portray an average person as a relative genius, because just how are the rest of the world who are supposed to be idiots supposed to be depicted? I think this movie might have just pulled that off.
