(gb) wrote: So i went to see this monstrous dribble today in a special screening. The only good thing about this story is Emily Browning, she is also the worst. I won't spoil this movie as i enjoyed some parts, but this movie should have been called 'Depression & Attempted Suicides of 1900's teenager'

(mx) wrote: A fun low-budget film that was actually not that bad. Decent story and decent acting, there is nothing special about it, but as far as TV movies go this is the best I've seen in a while.
(br) wrote: Decent acting and some cool action scenes. Takers is very generic, but solidly done.

(au) wrote: This was one of the best movies in 2013. Chiwetel Ejiofor was excellent as Solomon Northup and I cannot wait to see him in Marvel's Doctor Strange. The story was very brutal in its depiction of slavery and what happened to Solomon after he was kidnapped was very heartbreaking. I think this movie is a must watch for any American.
