Grant H (fr) wrote: Pretty good movie. It certainly improves over the last two films in both style quality and story, setting up a terrifying universe from its beginning, with better quality scares, better performances, and a much more interesting story. The best entry into the franchise.

Michael R (ru) wrote: John Huston's last feature was a family affair. Screenplay by his son based on a James Joyce short story and starring daughter Anjelica. Also featured is Donal McCann who passed away recently. The setting is a small dinner party given by two elderly sisters on a snowy night in Dublin in 1904. Not a lot happens but it is all memorable. Like a great short story nothing is wasted, not all is known before or after; some lives are unaffected and others will never be the same. Highly recommend. Available on netflix.

Trevor W (ag) wrote: Beautiful music composed with beautiful animation, this Disney classic is a joy to see and listen to. Sometimes slow, this long film is best viewed through spurts or as running in the background. Also, the non-animated parts contains some of the most beautiful film lighting to date.
Jeremy S (nl) wrote: Love this movie. Great family movie that is really acceptable for younger kids. Sandler gets ripped for how far his comedies have dropped, but he does a good job blending his humor with family friendly movies now.
Georgian S (au) wrote: Plenty of action in this film. Very enjoyable. At first when I saw this film, The Sweeney were gang members, however I have since learned well today hahaha, that they are an elite Police Force. Jack(Winstone) and George(Drew) and co are called into action. I didn't get the plot at first. So that's a negative. The Opening scene is a robbery. So I thought they were the robbers, but it so happens that they are an Elite Police Force as I said earlier. Then they are then told that there's to be a big hiest in a "Non-traditional high street bank". One member of the police force is killed and hence a battle ensues. Jack is stripped of his Police Badge, and sent to prison. Its up to sexy George to break him out or at the very least to prove his innocence. So a great movie, however plot very lost. So my guess is that you'd have to have seen the TV Series. hahaha. So overall enjoyed it emmenesley. Very good. Highly recommended. Loyalty is a key player in the film.
