Jalen M (nl) wrote: A decent follow-up to a great film really just makes this sequel decent.B

Bill C (ru) wrote: Cliched and simplistic (especially Guy Pearce); earnest (especially Guy Pearce) but never convincing (especially Guy Pearce). Don Cheadle is wasted here; I'm surprised he was able to stay awake. Nothing about this film works (especially Guy Pearce).

Pierre K (es) wrote: I enjoyed it!but it is probably very personal. However the realization is good and the message is very touching!Children and animation lovers will love it .the adult probably a bit less!

Chus v (ru) wrote: Probably the most underrated horror film, in movie history. Yes, some ideas are recicled, but atmosphere and dread slowly build up to an outstanding twist and ending, that gives the film, as a whole, a sense and a message, so disturbing, repulsion is a logical reaction to the film itself. A movie I will never cease to vindicate, and the promise of great things to come to Jaume Balaguer (REC), despite the - oddly - overrated "The Nameless", his debut film. "Darkness" has a great cast (Anna Paquin, Lena Olin, Giancarlo Giannini) and I will never understand why this film has been panned so much, despite its minor flaws.

Ben G (mx) wrote: A sad, fantastic documentary on a writer that changed my life, my way of thinking, my way of writing.... without being too OTT and emotional.. but he did.I thought the only criticism I could give, if I had to was it seemed slightly too focused on Corso and he was annoying... apart from that the appearances by Bourroughs and Ginsberg were legendary...absolutely worth anyones time if they are even remotely interesting in the Beat Gen....

Mark H (us) wrote: The three leads (Nicholson, Dunaway and Huston) were great in this film and had great chemistry although i did find it rambled and dragged on a bit.

Matt M (mx) wrote: A lesser work in the Cassavetes filmography, much less spontaneous and for that less exciting than the wide majority of the director's works. However, the character study and honest look at music is like a dignified alternative viewpoint on a theme that films all too often commercialise.

Laurent B (br) wrote: Very nice and enjoyable movie with a brilliant cast and nice cinematography. Not to be missed.

Marjon O (jp) wrote: pretentious and over the top acting at times, this film was both sweet and dreadful at the same time.
