Clarity A (mx) wrote: This is a meditative film. It is a character study and moves slowly. I Will Follow explores the complex and rocky landscape of loss, dreams, maturation and courage. It asks the question, "what will you do when you reach your crossroads? Follow truth and intuition, or believe everyone else?" Loved it. A movie about real life, starring black people.

Matt C (au) wrote: Such a fun movie that keeps moving in a direction I didn't think it would. A very fun take on zombies, as well as a great cast of characters. For a movie that has only two sets it keeps you at the edge of your seat the whole time. Definitely a keeper in my book.

Etsuko T (br) wrote: its totally a gut-wrenching movie... and i want more and more people to watch it.

Claudette A (es) wrote: It bored me to tears! I can't listen to someone mumbling to themselves for the first 30 mins of the movie.

Secret Y (gb) wrote: The only problem I have with this one is that it's predictible .. otherwise really strong movie

James H (us) wrote: 5.5/10. The film has a good message, but it sure takes a long time to get that message across. Boring at times Emily Lloyd's fake country accent gets downright irritating at times. Bruce Willis on the other hand gives a fine performance. The moving ending can not make up for the painfully slow pace of the film.

Angel D (ru) wrote: Possibly my favorite movie, its amazing, it makes you want to change your life for the better.

Jim H (ru) wrote: Two rival gangsters battle for turf and a new, strategically important armament during the Prohibition Era -- a cliche if the entire cast weren't children. It's a great idea: children playing the parts of hard-hearted gangsters implies that many of plots of the classic gangster films depend upon adults' childish behavior. The idea spoofs gangster movies perhaps in the way that Prizzi's Honor intended, and making the film a musical only adds to the film's conceit. And the film deals with gangster violence creatively: director Alan Parker couldn't have a child version of Joe Pesci stabbing the hell out of somebody with his mother's kitchen knife without significant ethical problems with the depiction of children and violence. So he had the tommy guns fire cream pies. Genius. And fun.The problem, however, is that the plot falls apart in the second act. Fat Sam is losing his turf war, and he ends up recruiting the lower classes to stockpile his army, but these characters come out of nowhere. Blousey - a character who would've been better played by Jodie Foster - and Bugsy's courtship fails to compel because her rejection of him comes off as entitled and bitchy. Also, the music is all lip syched with the voices provided by adults. This is the beginning of the film dropping its intelligent conceit, a denigration that is made complete during the final shootout. By the end of the film, it has broken all its own rules, and I couldn't help but feel quite disappointed.Overall, it's a great idea, but a great idea can only carry a film so far.

Scott K (nl) wrote: Very fun screwball comedy. Powell and Loy have a great chemistry after being in several films together, resulting in a pretty good film. I like them better in the more intelligent comedies that they are known for, but not bad.

Rhonda W (ru) wrote: He is soooooo funny!

Jon D (ag) wrote: Classic from my childhood, and still is one of my favorites. All the characters rock, and the craziness ties in well!

Greg W (nl) wrote: good version of this I saw in the theater and it was warmly received.

Andy T (us) wrote: Instead of focusing on the mysteries, Mr. Holmes takes a poignant look at the titular character encompassed so well by Sir Ian McKellen in one of his finest performances, and comes out as a thoughtful and faithful adaptation of the best detective in fiction.
