Travis S (it) wrote: For the first time I watched a movie that I am too old to understand. Also, I couldnt figure out several things in the movie. For instance, why did the father treat his 10 year old daughter like she was his wife, bickering at her and making her do all of the wifey stuff. Very sexist film in that regards. The girl never even went to school because she was so busy being a wife while his real wife was away.

I mean, they spend the entire film on one planet and it's mainly filled with silly Scifi ideas that had been outdated since the '30s filmed with all the production values of a music video from the '80s.Ha! And the optimists released it five days before Return of the Jedi! That was a stroke of genius.
