Al M (fr) wrote: I enjoyed Thankskilling way more than I should have. A slasher film with an undead turkey as the serial, the film is as dumb as it sounds, but it is so hilarious and enjoyable. Only recommended for slasher fans that enjoy idiotic humor blended in with their horror fare......

Donna L (ag) wrote: it was a nice love and hardship story, like all her stories.

Lisa R (de) wrote: Great coming of age family drama. Telling the heartfelt, funny and dramatic story of two troubled sons who desperately want the approval of their father. One turns to drugs, the other hides his true self. I loved the way it was shot and styled. The story was entertaining and the characters (although some were stereotypes) were all relatable. The relationship between the brothers, their parents and the church was excellently conveyed.

Bill B (jp) wrote: An amusing film, despite its flaws (not the least of which is the beyond-the-stereoptype parents of the groom). Speaking of the groom - was it just me, or did everyone else expect him to come out of the closet at some point during the film? The film has no nudity, and I don't recall any strong language either - rather refreshing for a gay film IMHO.

KJ P (kr) wrote: "Escape From the Planet of the Apes" is the third instalment in the Planet of the Apes saga, and it sure does know how to please fans of the series. After the abrupt and unsatisfying conclusion of the second film, we see that Xera and Cornelious have been sent back in time, giving information to the humans about the inevitable overtaking of the apes. This story is both funny and heartwarming and really makes you feel for these two apes throughout the entire film. It does a wonderful job exploring the differences between humans and apes. The script is well-written, which is funny, because it is helmed by the same writer of the previous instalment, and it is also very well-directed. With a much better story, I really really enjoyed this film.

Matthew B (ca) wrote: Rosemary's Baby is a work of sheer brilliance that left me in complete awe. The music, the direction, the cast, and the atmosphere is everything that some modern horror should take notes on.Roman Polanski is a master of his craft and he perfectly builds up the tension in every scene that makes the mystery even more engaging, as you the audience get interested in what's going on like Mia Farrow character. Speaking of Mia Farrow, shes pretty damn amazing in this and one of her best performance I've seen from her. The same goes to the rest of the cast, especially John Cassavetes and Ruth Gordon. The movie is a slow burn, but the pay off is satisfying and I always like that in movies when everything adds up to the end. You Know what, I'm kinda disappointed that I didn't watch this sooner, but thankfully I did, even at this time.Happy Halloween everyone.
