Project Nim is a Venn diagram of the human nature and that of the chimpanzee, further shaking the idea of absolute justice, and even putting one of the most essential visions of humanity into question - all in the biographical picture of Nim Chimpsky.

Tim W (au) wrote: I thought it was quite funny, but also sad. It has a very indie flavor. With many scenes taking place with one static camera angle and no dialogue, but IMO it works. The divorce papers scene is a good example. Zellner really conveys a great sense of awkwardness and alienation with such scenes. Worth a watch, if you don't mind minimal Indie flicks.

Buzz and his team of Space Ranger Cadets are the only ones who can save the day, and the galaxy. I remember seeing this when I was about the same age I was when I saw TOY STORY 2, and I was obsessed with that at the time. I liked it, but I think what I really liked was the introduction with all of Andy's toys, it was the closest thing I had to TOY STORY 3. I remember that this made me like the TOY STORY films more because I found out more about Buzz's background character. With TOY STORY 2, we found out more about Woody's background, but this one is completely about Buzz. It's the same with the TV series that came after this movie, but I can hardly remember those episodes unfortunately. TOY STORY fans should see this, but if you're not one and you want to watch this anyway, go for it. But it's nothing special.

Phillip L (de) wrote: Incredibly bad right-wing propaganda film is so ridiculously pompous and self-righteous that it inspires more laughter than reverence for its premise, the largely-imaginary War on Christmas that seems to obsess Fox News devotees. Devoted to supposedly dire events that have never, ever happened in this country - a war hero mayor being fired for putting up Christmas decorations - the film ultimately denigrates and trivializes the sacrifices of real-life veterans in service of a script so offensively dumb that only the most vapid and paranoid of viewers will find any satisfaction in this lugubrious turd.

James M (es) wrote: James Cameron's underwater sci-fi has it's moments, but I think the director's cut is far superior to the original theatrical version. It suffers only from a very poor ending. It's impossible to review this movie as a whole... In fairness, it needs to broken down. First 3/4's of The Abyss: **** Last 1/4 of The Abyss: **
