Dean K (ru) wrote: Very similar to the first film, not quite as funny or original as that one though. Still if you liked the original a lot, you'll get some laughs out of this.

John B (it) wrote: good movie overall that deals with teen suicide and the things that the deal with including popularity and religion.

Jens S (nl) wrote: This beautiful story of two musicians becoming friends (and more?) on the streets of Dublin is a little wonder of a film. Not only does it feel very fresh, natural and real, the movie doesn't even need a lot of words to make us feel for the two lovely main characters. The songs they sing do not feel out of place or forced into the scene, like in many other musicals, but as an important part. When they sing "Falling slowly" together for the first time in an instrument store it's impossible not to fall for this film. Of course it helps that the rest of the songs are just as wonderful. The sweet humor is another plus and so it feels those 95 minutes are over way too quickly, and we would have loved to follow those two around a little longer. Wonderful, touching, lovable.

wedstarfish 8 (it) wrote: After how negatively received the second film was, no one really thought the Wayan brothers would continue the Scary Movie series, and it seemed like that was right, only to find out that they handed down the rights to David Zucker (director of Airplane!) to direct the third film. And because of how great Airplane! was, this film turned out to be a little bit more enjoyable than the first two films. David Zucker, overall, is really good at directing films that have the genre of comedy too. This film takes a shot at making fun of "The Ring" from 2002 and surprisingly, "8 Mile" from 2001, which is a straight up drama film. Maybe because they didn't stick straight to horror, this film is my favorite out of the entire series. With extremely crude humor that's used basically every minute but that's actually funny, this film turns out to be pretty enjoyable.

Socsy T (mx) wrote: i just saw this film again on cable after so many years. i remember liking it when i first saw it. it had a good, formidable cast led by the brilliant michael j. fox and veteran star kirk douglas. it's funny and entertaining with enough heart in it. i love kirk douglas' character uncle joe and how manipulated, tricked and played with the people around him just to find out who among them truly cared about him. this is the kind of film that i wouldn't mind watching again.

Connie N (ca) wrote: Goofy but fun movie from the late 80s with a bunch of child tv stars in it!

Patrick W (nl) wrote: This is the direct-to-VOD, poor man's Taken with JCVD in it. Van Damme tries as hard as he can to give a few dimensions and some depth to his character, a veteran mercenary and kidnap rescue expert; but the script really doesn't allow for much time and depth. This one is pretty forgettable even with a few entertaining fight scenes.

James L (ru) wrote: Blood diamond has a very Fresh and original plot, but I found the film difficult to follow at times; but as an excellent concession, there is plenty of action, suspense and the always beautiful Jennifer Connelly.
