Nadine K (kr) wrote: I stumbled upon this little treasure and what a lovely find. Such a beautiful, natural piece . Two people desperately trying to hold onto the all consuming love and passion discovered in the beginning of their relationship inspite of huge obstacles placed in front of their union. The end is so quietly tragic. Be very careful what you wish might actually get it.

Pavandeep S (br) wrote: It works at moments but some parts were weaker. Cornel West is really good here.

Love it or hate it, I'm one of few who didn't care so much for this because I've seen this all before with the only difference is the setting! One of the problems is that it doesn't consider some obvious alternatives, I don't quite remember anymore upon writing this review! I hate heavy loopholes which this film consist of! Much of the camera style is hand held! 2 out of 4

Ted W (ca) wrote: Funny movie and even funnier with Chevy chase. I love snow days but when the plowman comes I hate it. Ok movie and only movie to watch on a snow day. Ok

Laura Y (fr) wrote: Pretty and fun! I recommend.

August C (nl) wrote: A gem of a movie, "Harry and Tonto" explores concepts about life through an elderly mans journey with his beloved cat Tonto to find himself. Art Carney's finest role, This is a quiet thinking movie. But if your in the mood for an excellent performance and a thought provoking film this is the movie for you.

Douglas N (jp) wrote: Virtually incoherent screamer, in which nothing much happen amidst lots of intrigue and a welter of cameos. The big stars of 60s horror barely share the screen, and Christopher Lee?s role (he answers the phone a couple of times, before serving as a dues ex machine) is particualry laughable. Unusually for a horror film, the best thing here is the thrilling car chase, which unusually seems to be shot on country lanes.

Leonard D (kr) wrote: A decent film from beginning to end! The so called "love story" was a little too distracting, but it didn't get in the way too much of how the film turned out to be. For Kate Winslet's character, she was good, but when I listened closely to her acting like an American, her accent was slipping in and out of her speech! Makes you think "Heh, decent actress, but it's no wonder that she didn't win for the Oscar for best actress that year"!

Nathaniel V (jp) wrote: Like most movies based on books, "To Kill a Mockingbird" simply was not as good as the novel. The movie left many different parts that I personally felt were important out. However, they did capture the characters and and their personalities very well and certainly picked the right actors for the roles. Everything that was in the movie was true to the original story and was definitely set up the way that I had pictured it while reading. I was no doubt impressed with that and though the movie may not have been 100% like the book, I still give it a solid 7.5/10 rating for being an over-all good movie.

Walter Black Walt R (au) wrote: "The way of the Monkey is to play the fool, while you laugh at his antics he bites you from behind. Unmask his ego and you expose a coward disguised as a monkey." -There's way to much of Lee's ideas in here to let the lack luster overall impression of this movie bring down the deeply spiritual and enlightened concepts. Yes, its god awfully corny -so much so that it's a good thing. Seeing Carradine blow out that torch has me wondering to this day if he really did it. Or when he punches the cow, watch the animals eyes, its priceless, -and hey they guy plays like 3 of the roles. Its great fun to watch alone or with friends if your in the mood for a fun, insightful, corny corny corny movie. 10 stars -"tie two birds together, and though they have four wings, they cannot fly..."
