Totomai M (fr) wrote: My favorite animated film so far. And the reason why I tried singing "One more time, one more chance" during karaoke sessions. The movie is divided into three parts. The first and last parts are my favorites. It follows the story of Takaki and Akari from their elementary days to their lives as adults. The details on the animation are so crisp and well-thought of. I haven't seen Makoto Shinkai's other works but with this film alone, I am already a fan.

MF J (de) wrote: A 4th chapter completely wasted & very ugly. Why on earth did they need to make another horrible sequel to this already pretty awful franchise? Money maybe? As it is , it's just a waste of time. Too bad because the first was really awesome.
Dan B (gb) wrote: I always heard Spike Lee is a huge black power kinda guy and this movie really shows it. It's a group of black men on their way to the million man march. Partially the whole movie takes place on a bus, with tons of pretty interesting conversation but it does get old after awhile. The characters were pretty interesting but it gets a little dumb when you find out their back stories that seem to be a bit far fetched. This offered a few good laughs and kept you entertained but lost me toward the end.

Ashley C (it) wrote: This will require a second viewing. Altman gives an engrossing, challenging, and ultimately frightening view of mental illness. Gorgeous cinematography. I found myself pausing the DVD several times just to admire some of Altman's compositions. John Williams' Herrmann-esque score shows what the man could accomplish before settling into crowd-pleasing scores for Hollywood blockbusters.
Bill T (us) wrote: A pretty good Noir here. Though not really the BEST. Someone is chasing family man and war vet Frank Enley around.. And soon Frank knows who it is, and has to face his demons one on one! This film has some nice surprises up it''s sleeve to keep everything interesting, (especially of the bad guy's wife in the end of the 2nd act). Not exactly earth-moving, but entertaining nevertheless.
