Sheila C (fr) wrote: Hilarious feminine twist on the mid- life crisis

Sam M (fr) wrote: Erotic Black Comedy? Whatever. This odd film has very subtle elements of Anthony Perkins' Norman Bates in his character here, I wonder why. Not a serious film by any means.

Linda J F (mx) wrote: I love Sally Field in anything, but this is just too cute.

Greg S (fr) wrote: A rubber-plantation manager (an young and surprisingly amoral Raymond Burr) lusts after the wife of his employer: murder, black magic, guilt and a strange creature terrorizing the jungle follow. Given the silly premise and sillier title, this is actually a fairly well-scripted and acted, though cheap, WOLFMAN ripoff that should just hold your attention for it's 66 minute running time. Lon Chaney, Jr. appears as a South American native, but doesn't even attempt a Spanish accent (?)

Millo T (us) wrote: Exotic and decadent. Sometimes lack or rhythm and narrative pulse, but full of variety of characters and settings: at the end it becomes more interesting (between 2.5 and 3 stars).

Victor L (de) wrote: Guilty pleasure for me. I enjoyed it and found it more memorable than many movies.

Byron W (jp) wrote: Great movie for smurfs fans
