Irene S (it) wrote: of course based on the true story of the assassination of president Abraham Lincoln, this film is narrated by Tom hanks and half of it is a movie, some are actual pictures which were taken at the time and facts. Very interesting how history folded in this tragic events of our 16th president.

Steven C (kr) wrote: Purposefully alienating. Some will call it crap and others will hail it as a masterpiece, but both sides will be wrong. The film is just Godard trying to be clever and failing. I give him credit for some truly interesting sequences but the message is poorly presented. It is an impenetrable film but even if it could be "solved" I doubt there would be anything worth your time said within anyway. Just eh!

Jenna I (fr) wrote: WAY better than the first one. Amazing racist humor, 60s spoofs, Jean Dujardin. A+++

Cherie S (de) wrote: the most worthless piece of crap movie EVER

Karen A (mx) wrote: I tried, I really did, but I have no patience for poetry recited instead of dialogue between characters. Not even in an indie film. I guess that's good to know.

Carlos M (ca) wrote: It shows revolutionaries fighting a dictatorship as a bunch of confused amateurs (I wonder how they don't get killed after halfway through), while also trying to humanize torturers in a muddled plot that doesn't really know what to do with this sort of material in its hands.

terry a (es) wrote: All the supporting roles are great.

Jared F (us) wrote: after watching this I realized; I'm pretty sure I saw this as a kid on moviepix or something. it was decent for what it was... It would feel dishonest to rate it 3 star or higher. I did enjoy it though don't get me wrong. I just can't let my mild enjoyment confuse with the actual quality of movie I just watched.

Tiago S (ru) wrote: MacLaine arrasa. Total e completamente. Ground zero. Nagasaki. Boooom!

Landen C (mx) wrote: Being a huge Bogart fan and knowing nothing of this film going into it, I was a little shocked to discover what it was actually about. Next to Dr. X, this is probably his second most off-color role, though it is brilliantly performed with an incredibly well written character arc.

Yasemin Y (de) wrote: One masterpiece again from Mahsun !

Kaitlyn B (br) wrote: Better then the second one, but not as good as the first. They didn't seem to go into the set-up as much. but still a good movie.

Jon P (us) wrote: Orson Welles' notorious noir has polarised critics for generations, but there's no denying the quality of the film's audacious visual style.Characterised by skewed camera angles, extreme close-ups and breezy surrealism, Welles' film looks fabulous from start to finish; even when its storytelling makes absolutely no sense. The film's dreamy narrative is never dreary, but the script juggles a sweet sense of humour with a sickening sense of over-complication, and the two don't always comfortably mix.The final act takes place somewhere between The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari and The Twilight Zone - and the entire set piece is utterly shattering. Just be aware that there's a fair few sweaty foreheads, sultry whispers and low quality Irish slurs to sit through en route.
