Gorkey G (es) wrote: A deeply felt movie. Quite creepy though.

Leena L (nl) wrote: Colin farrell catches a water nymph, finds out she is not really a nymph after all, but no matter, they live happily ever after in a gloomy irish fishing village.

Brett W (ag) wrote: Pretty lousy even for my expectations.

Ana B (ca) wrote: This movie was ok, but dealing with this subject, it could have been so much better. Kind of it loses power as it goes by. The end is too unbelievable. The feature that I really like is when it shows us that absolutely everybody has got prejudices.

Haden Y (us) wrote: more 'coming-of-age' action. it's a sweet, good-hearted film though, replete with poetic, intimist portraits of the individual, which is what Haden's about! A nice idea of a gay lifestyle option that isn't glitzy and cliched, also.

KJ P (es) wrote: At times, "Roll Bounce" feels a bit silly, but at it's core, it'a about a family in harsh times, as they see everyone around them having a good time. As X (Bow Wow) and his friends have faced the final days of their skate rink, they must choose to go over to the rich side of town to skate, where they run into old aquiantences and new rivals! The emotional tone of this film is phenomenal, seeing as this film goes from extremely silly to extremely heartfelt in seconds. I love the 70's feel of this film, it is done perfectly, and the music choices are fun. The direction is done well enough and the acting is very commendable. "Roll Bounce" is a very nice film to watch!

Nigel M (ca) wrote: Just as Sodomas Ghost came years after the Nazisplotation craze had died down Demonia is a supernatural nun flick that arrives on the nunsploitation scene a decade or so late. The film borrows a lot of its style from Jess Franco and its ideas from City Of The Living Dead and The Beyond. This point is underscored by the fact that the lead character is called Liza though Meg Register is cast in a role that would have ideally suited Catriona Macoll. Also features Fulci regulars Brett Halsey (Devil's Honey) and Al Cliver (Zombi 2)

Matt D (mx) wrote: Just what I felt like, doesn't take itself to seriously, the ad campaigns are worth the watch alone. Some good laughs and if you have worked in advertising or anything close to it you will find it even funnier.

Matthew S (br) wrote: Stunningly beautiful, visionary, unique, philosophical, surreal and incredibly human. Wem Wender's film seems to get better with each viewing. And I've long lost count of the number of times I've watched it. Henri Alekan's cinematography alone would be enough to make this film valuable, but I would find it hard to articulate the magic Wenders creates in this unforgettable movie. This is an essential film.

Peter P (ru) wrote: I remember watching this drivel on TV when it aired over here sometime around 1980. It was an insult to my backside then too...

Daniel K (au) wrote: It follows the formula precisely, which can be a good thing if done properly. However, in this particular instance it doesn??t quite have the attributes that distinguish it from other films in the genre. It??s a poor substitute for The Great Ziegfeld, Yankee Doodle Dandy, Night and Day, etc. It??s still entertaining; just less so. June Allyson is great as always. There are some good musical numbers, but any film that only uses Cyd Charisse for a matter of seconds is not quite right in my book. Still, it is a good ending.
