(kr) wrote: Pretty freaky. Not as good as the first one, but made me jump several times.
(au) wrote: I heard of this movie during viff and wanted to see it, seeing it now I am disappointed, I like quiet dry movies as long as there is something to it. There is nothing to this movie but a hot girl I. A bowling alley and a tiger in someone's backyard in the middle of winter. This movie irritated the fuck out of me.

(au) wrote: I might be the only one that liked this movie. It's not a traditional horror flick, it's a "you might just be crazy" flick, but I kinda like those better.
(gb) wrote: Well executed drama with a ill fated romantic element to round it out. Puts the ugly side into right focus, though I thought that if indeed it was realism the writer and director were after, then for sake of plausibility the main characters could have been a bit less angelic. Still a very very good film.
(au) wrote: Well casted and a pretty good film.
(kr) wrote: A movie I've meant to watch for what seems like forever, and I'm happy I finally did. Mike (Favreau) is a gullible loser that you can't help but root for, and hope it works out for him. Arguably the best I've seen out of Vince Vaughn. Very fun in this flick as the best friend. Mike's Voicemail Scene is gut wrenching to watch as a guy who's been there (as most of us have), but at the same time is extremely funny.
(kr) wrote: One of the greatest animated movies I've seen. The imagination of Miyasaki shines brightly in this family-friendly film. Besides, there's Catbus, and Catbus makes any movie awesome!
(it) wrote: Won't be sleeping very well tonight after witnessing this. Why I choose to do this to myself I'll never understand.
(br) wrote: horrible B movie remake of another horrible movie.
(de) wrote: Great movie. Mad quirky in unexpected ways, mad HOLY SHIT in expected ways. People that think it's cheesy are dumb
(ru) wrote: The title's a bit misleading. There's some romance in it, and no doubt Jane Russell looks amazing, but this boils down to a hard-boiled crime tale with a hard-boiled crime hero in Robert Mitchum. But the real treat in this one is Vincent Price as a hammy Hollywood movie star who finds his calling as Mitchum's eager wingman. It's a nice preview of his even hammier acting in great AIP flicks like "The Abominable Dr. Phibes" and "Theater of Blood".
(jp) wrote: This movie is so much fun. Mocking the exploitation era while being a love letter to that kind of grind-house cinema all in the same movie is a gargantuan chore, but Rodriguez has pulled it off with aplomb. Well done to everyone involved with this one. I can honestly say that I loved every minute of this movie. I loved every cameo, every casting choice, and for once even Jessica Alba didn't annoy me. To sum it up in a pithy one liner; Machete don't suck!
(ru) wrote: I enjoyed this, mostly because it reminded me of The Notebook and because the main characters actually got a happy ending.
(us) wrote: This Anthology horror movie is one of my favorites of all time. I really liked it. If only there was a DVD release to it, it's not on NTSC DVD's only PAL :(.
(it) wrote: I expected a comedy and got raw emotional acting. Delightfully surprised by Fey in this one. I didn't leant a thing, I wasn't awed or left wanting more - but it is just plain good story telling done well
