Le rcit a beau tre clat (le cot thriller politique est mal dgrossie), la spontanit des acteurs (Turturro et Harrelson terribles, A.Mackie prodigieux) rachte le tout.

(nl) wrote: Odd comedy, sort of a This is Spinal Tap from Finland, it's about a musical group The Leningrad Cowboys (who have long pointy hair and long pointy shoes) who are so bad in their native country that they are told they should travel to America because Americans will listen to anything. Fun little bits throughout, and all of the band members are funny and entertaining, as well as the hilarious manager. I wish it was a little longer and the script was a little funnier, but it's still a memorable film (honestly, they're an unforgettable looking group). Jim Jarmusch makes a cameo in the film as a car dealer.
