Jake H (br) wrote: This movie was heartbreaking and so bittersweet. I just wanted someone to hug her and tell her she is beautiful and smart. She was so sweet and true, and messed up. The religious family was classically hidious. Worth watching -- adults only -- and get ready for infuriating scenes.

Heather M (kr) wrote: A beautiful and complex story. All the actors did a phenomenal job telling this story. I think that the ending was unfair and not quite finished.

Gary C (nl) wrote: Watched this tonight on CNBC....the man was a genius and way ahead of his time with color movies, Mickey Mouse Club (still producing stars today), Disney Land/World (World wide and still growing) and Mary Poppins (first combination of live action and animation)....his legacy will live on forever.

Rob B (kr) wrote: Troma's take on the Bard's tale. Expect the usual from Troma on this one, goofy gore, t&a, cameos by Troma stars (Toxie & Sgt. Kabukiman), Troma movie posters and a little more imagination than your average mainstream flick. This one even has an on screen nipple piercing. A decapitation here, a couple of dismemberments there, mutant kids by way of inbreeding and another death by TV ala Mother's Day. What more could you ask from a Troma movie? How about a role for the mole man himself the great Lemmy Kilmister. As usual for Troma dvd releases there are lots of extras deleted scenes, trailers and others extras you won't find on other dvd releases. My only complaint about Troma is that they usually don't give us a widescreen version. You either love Troma or hate them, I love 'em. I've been a fan since the first Toxie movie and I'm rarely disappointed by whatever they offer. Recommended if your a fan of the punk rock film studio.

Ruhan R (nl) wrote: I'll watch anything with Ice Cube in it because it's just so fun to watch him get pissed off. This film was simple and sweet. No epic action scenes here, just decently choreographed shootouts. Films that follow an event occuring over a few hours are hard to pull off sometimes, but Walter Hill didn't do a terrible job. Some good old gun-toting, double-crossing gangsters versus ambitious treasure-seekers, a classic match up. It's almost as if the screenplay for some Pirate movie was modified to fit an urban setting. Worth a watch.
