Gavin S (de) wrote: It is one of the best animations adaptions of Batman I have seen. The voice acting was excellent sounded like the voices I imagine when reading the year one comic book. The animation worked and looked a lot like it was pulled from the book. Few minor flaws, but other wise I felt it was a good film.

Amy H (mx) wrote: Quite an enjoyable sci-fi movie, nothing that will make you jump or surprised but overall it didn't bored me to death.

Tom D (de) wrote: This is a very strange and weird movie. The script has several strange characters but it does not really work overall. You need more then some weird characters for a movie to work. The cast has a number of good actors that deserve better material.

Lindsey J (au) wrote: A faithful adaptation of Dodie Smith's novel, with great performances from Bill Nighy and Tara Fitzgerald. Romola Garai is endearing as the central character, Cassandra, and I was delighted that the film followed the story through to its bittersweet ending. A nice film from a lovely book.

Harry W (br) wrote: Kubrick's last and massively underrated motion picture reaps tiny seeds of its climax from the get go. Eyes Wide Shut explores sex, infidelity, marriage, humilation, deviance and other topics; personally I think the main theme of the film is want - the want to wear a mask and the want to take off one's mask. Nicole Kidman is great in a supporting role whilst Tom Cruise is good, but comletely overshadowed by Kubrick's artistry at play and Cruise seems like he's straggling slightly in performance at times. It's definitely Kubrick's most NSFW picture in my opinion even more severe in its images than A Clockwork Orange. The music ranges from reversed chanting to Chris Isaak and meanders in sync with the tone of the film. It channels, studies and explores every element of the psychology of sex ranging from the stark, desperate and horrifying to the playfully mischevious fantasy. Often, Eyes Wide Shut even borders on Lynchian weirdness and unsettling dream-like sequences. It is my favourite film of Kubrick's.

lucky V (it) wrote: It's been said before and I'll say it again, this is a super fat ripoff of the Alien series. The best part is that the eggs look like big pickles, and they make people explode by exploding themselves. Not as cool as it sounds though.

Melanie F (br) wrote: I guess for early 70's it was cool. Not a car racing fan at all here but it probably appeals to a large audience.

peter h (it) wrote: here is a simple b-grade 1950s sci fi movie formula 1. use a bunch of stock fottage 2. hire crap actors and 3. use animals that are so common but enlarge them to sacr movie audiance or more to the truth make them laght so hard. In King Dinosaur all of this b grade charm is found plus calling an iguana a t rex and having a random pet lemer with two love struck couple to keep the bullshit plot ticking over. the sad thng about this film is that it acutaly has animals harm ie grabbing the lemar by its tail and holding it upside down plus kill a baby allagator in combat with a iguana. the only thing i found intersting about this film is that it had decent cinemaphotography and it was shot with in three days impressive but the entire film is just one big steaming atomic turd of a movie 3/ 10

Mel J (ca) wrote: I can't say I did not like the movie but there are many mistakes and confusing parts. The movie is placed in Russia but it was filmed in Bulgaria and you can even see the Bulgarian flag in the begining even though it is supoust to be Russia.Maries and Nikolais ghost couldn't speek but their fathers ghost could speek Russian and English even though he could not have known English before he died and he had "superpowers" like making them see things in the past etc. Also I don't get how Nikolai figured it all out, based on what???
