Patrick D (es) wrote: Brutal? Utter bollocks more like! Truly the worst horror/thriller film ever. The tag line says it's a cross between Silence of the lambs and Hostel. Whoever the IDIOT was who said that needs to give up writing movie tag lines and never venture into a cinema again...tosser! NOT scary, NOT thrilling, NOT gory, NOT good! Dont waste 90 minutes of your life...I beg you!

Andrew S (it) wrote: Still didn't see the point to the entire film. It was slightly confusing and illogical was there even a cohesive story or plot? Woman boyfriend is shot and then it's presented a number of different ways were it could have or could not have happened? Really why I am I suppose to care about this. You never really get a feel for who these characters really are. The mood was set nicely and I personally liked the cinematography with all the colored scenes and such but story wise it failed.

Jim M (au) wrote: Kansas 1929: Henry Lesser (Robert Sean Leonard) starts a new job as a guard at Leavenworth Prison hoping to change the system from the inside, despite being woefully unqualified for the job. Once there he will meet, befriend and be challenged by one man, thief, rapist, serial killer Carl Panzram (James Woods, excellent). Lesser believes he can reform Panzram, but Panzram has other plans. Only one reason to see this, James Woods. Well based on a true story writer/director seems unsure of what he wants to say with this film, though he seems anti-death penalty and blames the "system" for men like Panzram omitting many elements of Panzrams life and crimes that suggest something else, something rooted in the man's soul that was the cause of his evil. I leave it with the mans own words, "In my lifetime I have murdered 21 human beings, I have committed thousands of burglaries, robberies, larcenies, arsons and last but not least I have committed sodomy on more than 1,000 male human beings. For all these things I am not in the least bit sorry." ??Carl Panzram

Jonathan G (fr) wrote: {SPOILER ALERT} Is a time-traveling, action, romantic drama about terrorism possible? I would say no, but that doesn't stop Tony Scott and Jerry B. from trying. Interesting enough to watch if you can separate logic from the screen. Rating: 7 / 10

Spookie M (fr) wrote: Oh man do I love me some women in prison movies. This is a great piece of schlock with ample nudity and great over the top bad performances by the likes of Linda Blair, Henry Silva, Sybil Danning and the late great John Vernon!

Cameron M (it) wrote: Despite the natural holes in the sci-fi logic, the brilliant set up never downplays the character moments and story. Matching this with great direction and Jake Gyllenhaal's appealing performance makes Source Code a very enjoyable action thriller.
