Alec M (fr) wrote: Not the movie I had initially expected. When I got to see it had a much more comedic aspect that I didn't expect, initially that caught me off guard but after a few minutes I got into it. Overall it was a very well executed film. Just the right mix of humor and drama for my taste.

I no nothing of Brooklyn underground, but this certainly has an authentic feel for me, with believably brutal characters. Cinematography and soundtrack round out a vision of a sparse, grim, pulse-quickening world. Watch out.
