Louis C.K.: Live at the Beacon Theater

Louis C.K.: Live at the Beacon Theater

Recorded November 10th, 2011 as part of the New York Comedy Festival, and only available for purchase online, Louis C.K. follows up his 2010 concert film Hilarious with a new hour’s worth of shrewdly observed and periodically profane material. He starts with making his own kind of please-turn-off-your-cell-phone announcement, as well as a warning not to text or tweet during the show: “Just live your life,” he asks. Whether he’s talking about a unique way to drop a rental car off at an airport or describing why a man in his 40s should not smoke dope, it’s terrific, humane, carried-to-crazed-extremes stuff.

Louis jokes about fatherhood, success, and flying first class at the Beacon Theater in New York. . You can read more in Google, Youtube, Wiki

Incognito I (br) wrote: Olesya rulin steals the show completely, both Kristin Chenoweth and Mathew Modine are both very convincing as a bad parents. Great cast, great movie.

Ken T (us) wrote: Jewel Staite is such a beautiful woman, which is why it is so sad to see her doing all these SyFy "B" movies. As it goes, this "B" movie wasn't that bad, but really Easter Island type statues buried in Canada...Ones that act like a repulsor beam from an old Star Trek show, really, really.

AJ R (fr) wrote: Brutal depictions of torture, an emotionally devastating ending and a disturbingly realistic take on gang violence makes Eden Lake hard to watch but definitely worth the experience.

Wendy S (ag) wrote: Garry Marshall plays such a cool grandfather! Coming of age story that explains the purpose of a bar-mitzvah and the symbolic nature of 'passing down the torch'. Touching family story that centers on Jewish culture and this young boys' understanding of becoming a man.

Alice Y (ag) wrote: 1.5 stars for the cute, agoraphobic dog. Absurd storyline, but not in a good way. Disappointed to see that the Magical Negro and her giant, weird family have made their way to rural New Zealand.
