Carlos I (kr) wrote: Oh lord. I was not expecting all that... The musical stuff is off-putting to many, but don't let that make you miss this great love story. I myself was not thrilled with a lot of it, but I can't deny Stone and Gosling have electrifying chemistry. Didn't even realize I was pulled right into their story thanks to it. And that ending... Whoo boy! What a kick in the heart. Jeez!

Bill T (nl) wrote: Alrhough this film has it's problems.. The whole "brother finding acceptance with the other brother" plotline sure is weak and the ending is pretty clumsy, I still loved a lot of this. Toni Collette can't do no wrong by me, and although I just absolutely hated "My Big Fat Greek Wedding", Nia Vardalos is quite fun here and keeps the jokes flying in her witty script. David Duchovny is really quite loveable in this too.

Drew M (us) wrote: What was the point here? An almost avant-garde interpretation of the gangster fable, with laughable action scenes, little to no acting, and an unexplained, directionless ending. The amusing moments in the middle are far from funny enough to save this film from its erratic, confused chaos.

Carlos M (ru) wrote: I don't wanna talk... about the things I've gone through... watching this trashy, tacky and poorly directed ABBA musical in which nearly no one can sing decently - especially Pierce Brosnan, who sounds like a dog barking -, and it only makes me wonder what the point is.
