Panayiotis P (us) wrote: One of the most intense thrillers I have seen in the past few years. Amazing scenario, intense special effects and directing which will blow your mind, all packed in the same film. This one will definitely shock you. I highly recommend it but this is not a film for the faint hearted.

Jose L (fr) wrote: Surprisingly good acton movie.

David B (nl) wrote: I'm the writer. It's funny that the worst review of the movie on here is from someone who was romantically and personally rejected by someone involved in the film. Ah schadenfreude, alive and well folks--keep on making art and heads up. xoxoxo

Matt C (ag) wrote: Seen a few documentaries of late and this was probably the pick of the bunch. Despite being clearly completely unprepared for the trip and at first seeming a bit cocky you eventually come to like all of the characters bar one. What was the fat one doing there with the silly hair? He couldn't even do any tricks!

Dylan D (gb) wrote: Coco Before Chanel is a wonderful biopic that emphasizes all the right parts of the fashion designer's early life, examining her drive, her skills, her thoughts, her loves, and the people that defined her existence, all of which together allowed for the construction of an empire that's synonymous with fashion in the same way that Henry Ford is synonymous with the automobile or Samuel Colt is synonymous with the six-shooter. A lovely film that's wonderfully acted, engaging and endearing, and beautifully conceived and handsomely executed, Coco Before Chanel is one of 2009's better films, perhaps not as shiny as some and not as memorable as others, but a wonderful all-around throwback-style film that emphasizes life and story in the midst of some exemplary costuming and set pieces.

John C (kr) wrote: Rarely if ever turn a film off but this was beyond awful- decent cast but shocking acting with the slowest delivery of dialogue, had all the energy and charm of a damp towel- so glad I'm not watching it anymore, genuinely feel a weight off my shoulders

Shantel S (ru) wrote: and the soundtrack is performed by the roots! amazing movie.

Samson D (kr) wrote: Bleak but captivating, Bloody Sunday is hauntingly realistic, recreating the events with lots of vivid detail, much like Paul Greengrass' later film United 93. Greengrass is a solid action director (he would later go on to make the superior Bourne sequels), but he really doesn't have much of a style beyond shaky cameras and fast edits. This worked very well for the Bourne films, but they were spy-thrillers loaded with action sequences. Bloody Sunday probably would have benefited from some more creative cinematography and more inspired direction, but if you are genuinely interested in the IRA subject matter as I was, then the frightening realism pays off in spades.

Tim W (ca) wrote: A story. Although it's weird but is it too much to ask for?

Lucy A (nl) wrote: Good start to a zombie series, although for this franchise, the sequel is better than the original.

Wrik S (ca) wrote: A tad too stretched for my liking but done well in terms of cinematic technicalities...

Ross C (it) wrote: I get what they were trying to do. They were trying to be clever having multiple plot lines tie up

Michael T (kr) wrote: Harrowing account of the horrors of political oppression.

maifayre l (gb) wrote: one of the best films of the 80s. The chemistry and dialogue delivery between Grodin and DeNiro is genius - the casting (especially grodin and kotto) is superb and the director is missed.

Private U (de) wrote: Very good film about a topic that was considered taboo when the film came out. A real piece of groundbreaking cinema.

Mark C (mx) wrote: This 1970s sex comedy did indeed seem a lot funnier back in the day but still has its moments even so. The biggest problem I have with this film is the casting of Julie Andrews. She seems completely wrong for the role but I suppose her casting has something to do with the fact that it's a Blake Edwards production. Whatever the deal, she comes off as Dudley's mom rather than his girlfriend. That may have worked back in 1979.

Zoran S (ca) wrote: Fairly loopy and psychological. One of Lewis's more interesting films.

Matty S (gb) wrote: I am used to being in the minority. So, I shall stay there regarding David MacKenzie's film. I thought it was one of the very best of 2012.

Steve G (us) wrote: The cops just ended up abusing the law. That's not really any better. But I've officially seen a Rock movie.

Jamie H (us) wrote: The roles of the women in this film are so 'hollywood typical' I could really see how the early feminists had such a mountain to climb. Still there us a part of m that craves the inevitable boy gets girl ending and reminds me of watching old movies an eating chicken soup on those afternoons I was too Ill for school. Not Marylin's best at all.
