Sreekiran M (es) wrote: Thuppakki is an partly intelligent action thriller. It may not be so engaging and breath taking, but still there were few cleverly executed scenes. Thanks to director A.R Murugadoss's screenplay which had racy proceedings. Vijay was given a strong role. He solely carries the film on his shoulders. So for the holiday season, this is a good film. Grade : B-

Noah S (de) wrote: It's bad. It's REALLY bad. Would be half a star, but for some reason it has an awesome cast. THIS CAST DESERVES A BETTER MOVIE THOUGH!

Martin O (ag) wrote: Pretty interesting stuff, v funny at parts and good performances all round

YK G (nl) wrote: It's about time HK gangsters movies spew more vulgarities like this piece.

Arseniy V (au) wrote: Solid stuff altogether. Including, unprecedentedly enough, the fights themselves. Should have seen it sooner.

Ashley S (us) wrote: I loved this movie back then and I still think it's great.

Damon G (ag) wrote: Pretty funny. Tim Roth acts like a muppet

Aaron B (es) wrote: My favorite IMAX film. I watched this film many times over and I'm compelled by photography and Nimoy's narrative to jon the exporation of space.

ON NETFLIX: "Just before his death in 1994, pitch-dark comedian Bill Hicks was celebrating a turning point in his career, due mostly to his newfound sobiety. Flimed in 1989, this rare onstage performance captures Hicks spouting off on a variety of topics."

Steve K (jp) wrote: A strange and wonderful family film--heavy emphasis on strange. It goes on a little long, but it's one of a kind. Although it feels like a somewhat faulty adaptation of a darkly humorous children's novel, this original screenplay was written by the director.

Rob B (ca) wrote: As an action/adventure/comedy film, it's only average over the first hour as Jackie Chan and Yuen Baio's mobile fast food business gets mixed up with a thieving prostitute (the unbelievable Lola Forner) on the run and their private detective friend Sammo Hung. Soon all four are on the run from a gang of henchmen led by Keith Vitali and Benny Urquidez with some amazing car and bike chase scenes across Barcelona. But all of that is just filling which leads up to the climatic fights scenes: Yuen Baio vs. Keith Vitali and Jackie Chan vs. Benny "The Jet" Urquidez. Benny and Jackie turn out the best one-on-one matrial arts fight ever put on film (sorry Bruce and Chuck).

Liesl E (ca) wrote: A good biopic. Chadwick Boseman does a fine job as James Brown and gives an excellent performance. The movie plays it too safe with the content, though, choosing to gloss over Brown's troubles and focus more on the music.

Shantel D (es) wrote: Loved it!! Crazy creature feature set in Ireland?? Not a hard sell for this girl.

wedstarfish 8 (fr) wrote: True Lies is one of the best action movies ever. The suspense, action, and violence in here make this movie awesome, I love it.

David K (jp) wrote: A Fun and creative "all-In" monster comedy that does great. Only weighed down by some serious pacing issues

Brandon W (ca) wrote: The Peanuts Movie is directed by Steve Martino, and it stars Noah Schnapp, Hadley Belle Miller, and Bill Melendez in an animated film by Blue Sky Studios about a group of kids that saw that a new kid is coming to their town, and Charlie Brown sees that he has a crush on her, and wants to impress her, while also dealing with a book report, flying a kite, and other things also. I was skeptical at first when I saw the trailers for it as it's by Blue Sky Studios, but when I saw that the reviews are higher than I've seen from a Blue Sky Studio film, I got curious, too bad it took almost a year for me to finally got a chance to watch it. The kid actors that played the memorable characters are really good which is surprising to see that it's a crew of kid actors as you don't really get that from films these days. The animation is very good in an interesting way that gives off hand drawn animation with added touches of CGI in it that make it stand out more and completely different from the typical good looking animation that Blue Sky Studios. The characters are just as great and faithful to the TV specials and the comic strips as they are. The writing by Charlie M. Schulz's son, grandson, and Cornelius Uliano is really good at understanding what made Peanuts so well known to this day and make it feel like the creator of Peanuts didn't die at all and still kept going with his life's work. The stories that have are very good and very relatable, even though some of the story resolution is either predictable, or not concluded for it. The humor is well done, and it still has the heart and charm that Peanuts TV specials had. The Peanuts Movie is one of Blue Sky Studios best films, and I'm glad that it's as faithful as it can be like Deadpool that turns into great entertainment.
