Frank F (fr) wrote: Another fantastic film directed by Jia Zhangke. Four stories are based on true events happened in China, but he used them as a way to reflect the contemporary problems and violence in China. As a Chinese, I was resonated by it deeply. And the ending is so shocking, one of the best endings I've seen last year.
Tsai W (mx) wrote: Very excellent movie. Not an "Otaku" movie as I first expected. Funny but not stupid. The end of the story is suprisingly twisted but still very reasonable, as being a mystery film.

Dyron W (us) wrote: Tank Girl is a goofy, nonsensical and twisted adaptation of a goofy, nonsensical and twisted comic that was butchered by the studio and ignored by critics and moviegoers alike, but like a fungus, it grew on me after a view viewings and I couldn't help but enjoy the film for its crass, unconventional nature. So sue me.

Through sharp dialogue and expressive camera angles, the story unfolds as the President and his allies unravel the machinations of members of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to defend of the American democratic process.

Mau R (au) wrote: The couple of main characters are attracted pasionally to each other, but make a constant effort to avoid premarital sex. What a nice, original way of defending the virtue of chastity in this classic screwball, which is so uncommon on todays Hollywood movies
Arturas P (mx) wrote: Pretentious anti white SJW garbage and white guilt filled critics of course love it white shitting on all DC movies without good reason.Shows just how biased and agenda driver critics really are.

Andrew S (mx) wrote: Made at the tail end of the golden age of drive-in and grindhouse cinema, "Q" is a satirical, low-budget monster movie about New York City being terrorized by Quetzlcoatl, the winged serpent Aztec god. Michael Moriarty stars as Jimmy Quinn, a petty crook who thinks he might have a shot at the big time when he discovers Quetzlcoatl?s nest at the top of the Chrysler Building. Only exploitation auteur Larry Cohen would have the balls to film a full scale monster movie in Manhattan without permits -- including a massive gun battle at the top of a skyscraper! The results are an absolute blast and Moriarty?s extraordinary performance as a beaten-down loser opportunistically looking for a ?Nixon-like pardon? gives the movie an unexpected depth and poignancy. Fuck "Gandhi": Moriarty should have taken home the gold at the '82 Oscars!
Ian B (mx) wrote: The 80's were a tough decade for the western, but leave it to the genius of Lawrence Kasdan to give us one of the most enjoyable efforts the genre has to offer, even to this day. Yes, this is a classic western story that's been told many times before, but rarely have they been filled with this much fun and excitement. And talk about an all-star cast! Kevin Kline, Danny Glover, Jeff Goldblum, Kevin Costner, John Cleese...the list goes on and on. It's one of those movie where you can tell everyone is having a blast with their role, whether they're on screen for two hours for ten minutes. It may not have the emotion or grit of Eastwood's best in the genre, but it's still a hell of a lot of fun and will likely be remembered as one of the best.

//Another movie produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and directed by Gore Verbinski, same team that worked together in "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise, this time the 'Lone Ranger' bring us the story of a Texas Ranger, John Reid (Armie Hammer) that will have to use a mask and work together with an indian, a comanche named Tonto (Johnny Depp) who's mind is a little mixed-up. The story is told by Tonto to a little kid who has heard the adventures of the Lone Ranger, and he decides to tell him how all have started. I found it funny, especially Depp's acting is always something that one can enjoy..
