Rob D (br) wrote: I think the entire movie is a great idea... but the worst cast for that idea which now tells me I can't trust Rotten Tomatoes either for truthful reviews. The plot, timeframe and actors (other than Jeremy Piven) are all the avant garde and noir "naked emperors" that no one ever questions in their obligatory (at best) effort and gave it all a thumbs up?. As if there was no adult in the room during the pitch to say, "no one is going to believe Cusack as a CIA operative anymore than they would believe that Dan Ackroyd is the same." No matter how many nostalgic New Wave 80's songs you buy the rights to feature in the movie or even if you have Minnie Driver (who still sounded like a Brit playing and American playing a Brit doing the part of an American) costar. As for Cusack, great concept, but he is a great supporting actor when paired with great directors, scripts, producers, and everything else including Key Grips . I have always felt like his acting and presence revealed that he must be "in service to" of related to Jack Woltz (Godfather reference).
Facebook U (us) wrote: The film being old makes quite a bit of it more understandable. The whole is quite not believable, so the story appears gratuitous although somewhat fun at times. Disgusting other times. Found one touching scene near the end.
Evan K (fr) wrote: Kids are fun, but the film is not very memorable. Oh, interesting how it talks about Italy's culture, it was very informative.
Al M (ag) wrote: A lazy, uninspired, and stupid remake of the brilliant Japanese horror film, Pulse fails on every level to reach the horrific heights of its predecessor. All of the philosophical implications and ambiguously creepy moments have been churned through the machine of Hollywood mediocrity to produce a supernatural slasher film that seems lame even compared to other American films of the same genre.

Tsubaki S (de) wrote: It had to happen, spaghetti westerns got too obscure, too gritty, the genre got saturated with stories of vengeance. Trinity came along and stablished a new route, comedy started to become more incorporated into sw, becoming a sub-genre of it's own. While the first Trinity movie doesn't offer any big surprises it works well and shows Spencer and Hill working his buddy chemistry to good use. Eventually better movies like Compaeros would come out, but for what it did Trinity is certainly an important point in the history of spaghetti westerns.
Keith E (gb) wrote: An endearing, but somewhat clunky documentary about a very naive and clunky Serbian movie. The navet is outshined by the fact that it was the first Serbian talkie filmed with stolen film from the occupying Germans. Fascinating from an historical perspective.
