Andrejs P (br) wrote: I'm a big fan of westerns. In fact it is probably my favorite genre of film. I have seen Douglas in two other westerns,Gunfight at the OK Corral and Lonely are the Brave (which is one of my favorites). This movie isnt as good as those two, but its still worth a viewing... I mean its entertaining. Pretty typical revenge story. But yeah I agree with one of the reviewers below....Douglas seemed pretty calm for just having his wife killed. I mean when he met up with Quinn for the first time he was laughing and joking....kinda strange. Didnt really like the town set....its really obvious its a set.

David M (nl) wrote: An apocalyptic film that doesn't focus on spectacle or shock from disaster-porn graphics but focuses on the people with a grounded real-life view. It's more relatable & the characters are honest with a lot more substance than clichd disaster flicks but truth be told it's never that engaging. And even though I realise this is essentially a relationship-drama, I felt like there needed to be more conflict/action involved - it was the end of the world after all, wasn't it?
