The death scenes are so fake i guess they wanted to just make fun of horror movies. This movie was hands down the worst movie i have seen in a long time. I cant believe anyone found this entertaining. It is a mindless, boring horror movie with terrible acting. I would be ashamed to be in this movie in fear it would destroy my acting career. I cant believe people spent money to budget this film. Its so bad its not horror it should be comedy not scary at all. The blood and deaths are ridiculously fake and this film shows no creativity at all. i would have rather watched grass grow then to watch this awful film again
Matt B (mx) wrote: Sorority Row is actually a lot better than I expected it to be. It's stylish, has some cool death scenes, and has a lighter, funnier sense of humor than most slasher pics. Yet again, it is just your typical slasher pic filled with the usual horror cliches. Not terrible, but not quite recommendable.

Anthony T (it) wrote: First off I am going to say I am comparing this film to slashers of the early 80's, so the rating will seem a lot higher than it would be today. The film is everything you would expect from an elite 80s slasher, but with more blood and a bit more twisted. Overall there were lots of random scenes and things that made 0 sense, but if you love old horror films, this is one to see. Really reminded me a lot of sleepaway camp. If I compared it to today's films though, I think it would get just 2 stars.

Calvin C (es) wrote: The eerie part is that decades later, this story is more relevant than it ever was. Burt Lancaster deserved that Best Actor Oscar. Jean Simmons is right up there. Both are fueled by passion and fire and you believe every word that comes out of their mouth. Shirley Jones plays a small, but critical role that also earned her an Oscar. Some may say some scenes are exaggerated, but maybe that is the point. It doesn't matter if you believe what you are saying, as long as those who are listening to you believe it. Grade: B+
