(kr) wrote: Directed by Nicolas Winding Refn, this is a strangely weird movie populated by beautiful but unlikable characters. Refn is very self indulgent here, and although it has a very cool look and style, it certainly doesn't hold up to Drive, which I really liked. There's plenty of blood, violence and nudity and it's shot in the style of those odd lesbian vampire films from the seventies. Not my cup of tea.

(de) wrote: is a fast moving spy thriller. An illegal arms deal in a Berlin hotel goes wrong and the North Korean 'ghost' agent is on the run wrongly accused of being a double agent. The director has been influenced by the Bourne series. Super action set pieces makes this an tense thriller.

(ag) wrote: For those craving an experimental film experience, Tropical Malady will placate the most rabid Hollywood hater with its lack of plot, explosions or superficial characters. Sprinkled glimpses of coherence are interspersed with jungle foliage that finally falls off the rocker as characters emerge into a folkloric allegory including body paint. Like a bus with flat tires driven by a monkey, it's long and slow and you won't know where its going. If you're looking for stunning imagery with no plot, I'd recommend Baraka instead, and for the folkloric allegory crowd(all three of you), check out the more meaningful Ten Canoes.
(de) wrote: Good fun!!!! Funny! Funny! Funny! I could believe the rating from the critics! But then again most critics hate movies like this, you know, the kind that make you laugh. It's a slapstick comedy, not a drama! For a comedy, it's a great movie! You won't be disappointed!
(ca) wrote: -IGNORE THIS "OUT OF FIVE" RATING4/4Harrowing drama, based on a true story, about William Hayes caught drug smuggling in Turkey, and severing life sentence in prison. Director Alan Parker uses all of his skills turning in an extraordinarily powerful movie. Stone's script and the music score won Oscars.
Recomendada

(br) wrote: Probably the best of the franchise, Carry on Cleo used all the leftover props from the Elizabeth Burton film Cleopatra for a much better purpose. Lots of quotable lines, and a very British sense of humour prevails throughout. Definitely worth watching.
