Sibel S (nl) wrote: I really liked this movie. Although the story is too long, it catches you because it feels real and believable. The movie has its own characteristics; plane and peaceful scenes, good actors and actresses far from artificiality and exaggeration, familiar but true story.

Kitty C (es) wrote: An inspiring movie centers around a group of young people & the plot develops with their struggle, the pursuit of dream together with uncertainties & some hardship. There is a strong message embedded: searching for one's root which is son vs. father & modern vs. tradition. The movie touches me a lot. Love the drum sound & rhythm: inspiring & full of positive engery reminding me never give up and to pursue your dream!

Lanning (jp) wrote: When I say that this is the least satisfying of the Ginger & Fred movies, I want you to understand two things. First, it was their first together so they were cast in supporting roles. Hence they are not meant to dominate the scene. Second, they were paired, I believe, by happenstance, but you can believe that once the power brokers saw what they had done, they rubbed their hands together with great glee and just knew that they would have to make more movies with this charismatic couple. Thus the string began. So while this may be the least satisfying of the Ginger and Fred series, that's because it functioned as the discovery of Ginger and Fred. As it is, they are still great together -- and they only got better. This is definitely, from a historical perspective on them, a Rogers and Astaire must-see. You will only appreciate what came later all the more. And quite frankly, the airplane wing dancing is the bomb, even without them.

Daniel O (ca) wrote: I'm so glad I only had to wait a couple months (until I got together with my friend) to watch this film rather than the 9 years real fans had to wait. It was definitely different, but still managed to capture the real essence of perhaps not love, but true connection and passion. It was so basic, so simple, and even awkward at times. The whole film is just an hour and a half long conversation between two people and feels as though it was shot in one scene. It was very quick paced, but nothing was really happening. Rather than an audience member watching someone tell a story, I felt like a stranger eavesdropping on a conversation two other people are having. The ending did leave a slight sense of unsatisfaction and felt like it was cut a bit short, but is making me think that Jesse is ready to just throw away his life back in America and move to Europe.I'm really glad I won't have to wait another 9 years to see the third film. :)
