Shane M (br) wrote: The worst musical and musical comedy ever made!! The film might have some moments, great music and dance numbers, and some funny moments, but the film is complete garbage after that. The film puts in sci-fi and fantasy elements (blasphemy), average acting, awful story and comedy, over reliance on car chases, awful visual effects, and virtually no sophistication that made the original so clever and hilarious. The film puts in ridiculous, impossible, and almost impossible antics that make this completely forgettable and unnecessary. The film is more over the top than the original, but in a bad way this time. The sequel tries to copy the original, but lacks the characters and the chemistry that made the original a cult hit. Never see this movie!! Disgraceful to The Blues Brothers, SNL, John Landis, Dan Aykroyd, and fans.

Stefan G (gb) wrote: Because Ocean's Eleven made so much money, Hollywood apparently decided that there should be a sequel. It's too bad that they didn't do anything to improve over the first film in any way. If anything, they made it much worse. The film has so many bankable stars that it basically serves as a self-indulgent vehicle for everyone in it. The story itself doesn't exactly help, seeing as it moves at an unsatisfying slow pace purely for the sake of showcasing the film's overly slick sense of style. I also find the film's premise to be overly convoluted and ridiculous, since in this movie, the main characters have to steal money in order to pay it back to a mobster who wants them dead. Wouldn't a group of thieves steal money so they can keep it to themselves? By-and-large, Ocean's Twelve is basically an uninteresting rehash of the previous film, but without anything that made its predecessor remotely passable.
Grant T (de) wrote: A warm, charming little film that won't be life changing, yet balances the idea of believing in something with a unique storyline. I wish the film took a more forward approach instead of staying so reserved, but nonetheless is worth your time
