Wilmar G (es) wrote: This nonlinear dramance happens during the war in Bosnia. Main characters go through a lot of frustrations during their attempt to have a child. Story is lined with great unexpected twists. Aging make-up was well done, very convincing!

Chris G (ag) wrote: This movie was sad as fuck. But it had a strong message why people shouldn't bully anyone. Very well done.

Moya W (ru) wrote: This is my favourite movie in the Harry Potter-franchise along with the first one. The beginning wasn't that strong, but the rest of it is so good that it doesn't really matter. It's exciting and it has a bit of everything. Most certainly entertaining.

Deena A (ag) wrote: I could care less about the story or the characters in this movie. I found it very boring and tedious.Grade: D-

John K (jp) wrote: If you are looking for a Japanese explotation movie, with lots of sex and gore, this is a good one. Simple story, no explanation for the man-monster at the end, but so what? Its very well shot, and the editing and direction are exceptional (for this genre film anyway). To coin a phrase, it does what it says on the tin. Synapse's DVD is superbly remastered. This film gets a bit of a mauling in online reviews, but, you know, if you don't like musicals, don't watch musicals!! If you don't want to see films like this, then no one is forcing you to. But if you *do*...

Mark D (us) wrote: A great film, but it's based on a classic story, so it should be! Michael Caine is on form, with a witty dialouge and some cool camera angles to deliver them in! Somewhat overlooked as a poor man's James Bond, for my money these films are better than most Bond films.

Steve B (jp) wrote: An interesting idea for a movie, watching the adventures of Alfie and his carefree existance. Working a job, smooth talking the girls and living a somewhat 'high life', single, parties and womanizing. Although easy enough to follow and watching him work his magic, the whole movie pretty much has Alfie talking to us the viewer no matter where, with who and doing what. For me this was the off putting part and broke in the action and interesting scenes where you can see what's going on. I understand that this was the Director's way and as a concept it's okay and has been done numerous times. I personally just feel it would have been interesting watching this movie for what it was, try imagining all the scenes with no narration spliced together and left for the viewer. Nicely acted by Jude all the same and seeing him avoiding commitment by his women he sees.

Nels D (fr) wrote: There is one thing for sure. Norm of the North will undoubtedly be the worst film of 2016 for a LONG ass time. Sure, this is only the third film I've reviewed so far, but this is one of the worst animated films that I have ever seen. And this is easily the worst animated film that I have seen in the theater. Every frame of this film is nothing but immaturity, child pandering, incompetence, stupidity, and endlessly shitty-looking CGI animation that shouldn't have even been worthy of straight-to-DVD quality. HOW THE HELL DID THIS GET INTO THEATERS!? And did I even mention yet that the lead is voiced by ROB SCHNEIDER!?!?!? Every person involved in this abomination knew that they were making shit. No one was trying or putting in the effort that all forms of film need to be remembered as something special. There are no exceptions. You cannot cut corners with this fact. Even the children in my theater, the ones that this film was supposed to cater to, looked bored out of their minds. One of them even asked their parents if they could leave about an hour into the runtime. HONEST TO GOD. Nobody waste their time with this film. Don't even rent it. Let it fade into obscurity over time and let this abominable mistake in cinema be forgotten.
