To me the awkwardness felt too forced and the outcome is predictable but what really bugged me is that I had a hard time sympathizing with Jordan's character. He's on one hand hurt and mistreated by the ex girlfriend but then he turns around and does the same sort of thing to the stripper so I feel more sympathetic for her overall because now she's with this chode. Granted, he did do some grand gestures to make it up to her but it just took away the sweetness of his character that otherwise would have made him endearing instead of just a moron.

Sean C (gb) wrote: The print I watched had poor sound and picture quality which is a shame as aside from some pretty wooden acting there's a decent horror flick struggling to get out here. The scenes with the sepia tone (or was that just how it looked on the duff print) have a nice creepy vibe to them and elsewhere there's a killer on the loose who may or may not be who they think it to be.
Nathaniel B (us) wrote: It's not the most captivating French New Wave film I've seen, nor the best, but the film is an important one to see, on account of its far reaching influence on what an intelligent crime movie can be.
