June B (it) wrote: This film was almost on to something.

Audrey A (nl) wrote: Outstanding movie - everything a great independent film is supposed to be.

Paul D (es) wrote: I really wanted to like this since I am a huge fan of Michael Rosenbaum. However, this film had too many pacing issues to forgive. I liked the idea and premise of the film, but the characters were not very engaging and it was hard to stay interested. It does offer a few decent laughs though, just not as often as I had hoped.

Andy P (gb) wrote: Hahahahhah!! Ok Matt Damon...the only way to watch this movie is on fast forward. That way it makes more sense in the end :D ...seriously though...fast forward!!

Leonard D (it) wrote: Over the top horror? Intimidating villains? Count me in! Unfortunately, I assume that someone in Hollywood is meeting with some greedy studio executives to get this remade! Don't try it!

Millo T (fr) wrote: Between 2.5 and 3. It has an intelligent sense of humour and a very good combination of the overlaping stories and shots, although the main plot -maybe because of the issue- does not captivate me completely.

Nick R (mx) wrote: Guys.... It's a good resident evil movie. Holy shit.

Damon R (nl) wrote: Still the best action-comedy ever made!

Darillyn S (ca) wrote: The plane crash that devastated the football team, and many others, from Marshall, took place when I was 16. I remember hearing about it. The movie is taking me on quite a trip down memory lane. Hearing my favorite songs from Creedence, Neil Diamond, and the Jackson five; the hair styles, the sideburns, the wide lapels, even the old style ring tabs on drink cans, all evoke thoughts back to that time. I have to say, though, that Matthew McConaughey's performance is so over the top, and his teeth are so white, that every time he is on the screen, it breaks the feeling of being back in the era. I would think that the real Jack Lengyl was intense, but probably not to the point of annoyance! The mannerisms are so exaggerated that it sometimes seems more like a caricature. There are some good things in the film, but I would have much preferred a tamed down lead character! I think the film is worth watching, though, if only to call to memory both those who were lost, and those who picked up the ball and kept running, in spite of the obstacles in their way.
