Lea L (br) wrote: Some people say the film was too depressing, with no redemption. But maybe some films don't need complete, expected solutions. I feel that the ending to Pure was not altogether hopeless or fatalistic. In showing that there has been some triumph or progress during the course of the film, hopes are validated that Paul's life can continue to improve beyond the film. This is a must see film for anyone that likes to be emotionally touched whilst watching a movie..

Yvan D (ag) wrote: Finding Forrester is a well acted movie from Mr. Connery and Brown. The actors perform their role so good, even the supporting actors are great. Jamal's teacher plays a really pompous ass. Just a man who can't become a writer becomes a teacher. I give the film two thumbs up.....

Carfax A (ca) wrote: Lazy writing, stupid story line and a completely different type of Angela make this worse then the 1st one. Angela is all grown up and apparently a completely different personality. Even though she is still the killer, she is no longer this comatose gazing girl, but a bubble, goofy acting, happy counselor. The story from the start is Angela is now a counselor at another camp and she starts killing off her wards one by one. She doesn't like something the campers do, she kills them. The most moronic thing about this story is how Angela explains all the disappearances to the camp director. "Oh I had to send them home because they weren't behaving." The whole movie these kids disappear and she just keeps using this excuse. To add insult to injury to the viewer, the camp director buys it. I know in horror films there is a certain amount of reality that you have to let go of, but sometimes things are just so stupid it just ruins it and this is one of those occasions. The only plus above the original film is this does offer a ton more gore and a couple of good sex scenes, but to be honest it's still not worth sitting through all the stupidity. This one was so bad that I'm not even going to waste my time with the 3rd one.

Karsh D (ca) wrote: lulled into this as it starred Bela Lugosi and ava Gardner but turned out they were bit parts in a dreadful comedy.

Grant H (ru) wrote: Bad movie. While Jackson's real-life story is actually really inspiring, its depiction on screen is too formulaic and dull to really recommend, also featuring weak performances, Bryant and Jackson delivering two good ones.
