A sparkling comedic chronicle of a middle-class young man’s romantic misadventures among New York City’s debutante society. Stillman’s deft, literate dialogue and hilariously highbrow observations earned this debut film an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Screenplay. Alongside the wit and sophistication, though, lies a tender tale of adolescent anxiety.

A group of young upper-class Manhattanites are blithely passing through the gala debutante season, when an unusual outsider joins them and stirs them up. . You can read more in Google, Youtube, Wiki

Scott A (us) wrote: Nice cast and well acted, but sadly it's a movie that has a lot of ideas, but doesn't really deliver on anything.By the title, it didn't take long for me to discover the big secret in the plot...but it takes the film forever to finally start talking about it. I actually was very intrigued by it as well. Bairstow gets a great scene telling of the bad that can come from this fountain they found. But that's it.The love story between Bledel and Jackson seems fake the entire film, and the subplot with Kinglsey hunting them ends with a thud.Nothing ever has a good pay off here. And the ending is a huge let down.

Lissa (es) wrote: I had no idea really what this movie was about but when I pressed play and saw Jude Law I was happy already. Cute movie about knowing what you want and if you believe in love you'll get it. I know what it feels like to be the one in the family that has to be responsible, even if your brother or sister thinks it's them. Another great flick to watch with the cat!

Anthony L (es) wrote: The tale continues but the battles are far greater in this instalment. Zatoichi even tries his hand at Sumo wrestling which was quite good fun. For me though, the very last scene makes this film. As Zatoichi walks into the distance he tries to do so in a light-hearted and uplifting way even though inside his heart is broken, the smile to frown and fadeout is just as heartbreaking for the audience. My favourite so far!

Jeff Z (us) wrote: Boring 3rd rate Randolph Scott western about the Reno brothers makes Elvis' "Love Me Tender" story about the Reno Brothers look like a David Lean masterpiece. Scott is forgettable as the undercover operative who fakes a train robbery to get in with the Reno brothers gang, then later completely entraps them by planning another train robbery with them in on it. Forrest Tucker and Edgar Buchanan are wasted.

Jason C (kr) wrote: A great technical achievement and a unique take on a soldiers life. It's focus on the mundane reminds one that the "excitement" of war is but a flash compared to the endless time allowed for contemplation, fear, confusion, and the myriad other emotions that a soldier must face in between facing bullets.
