Jacob M (au) wrote: A heartwarming and funny little comedy with a pretty intriguing premise.

Mike M (au) wrote: Segments of Goch's film feel a little rushed and underdeveloped, an issue perhaps to do with trying to combine tour and shooting schedules... Still, as with the White Stripes' leftfield tour feature "Under Great White Northern Lights", this is a case of a musician going off the beaten track and seeking to engage with something wider then their usual circles: the genial Rhys is tremendously good company throughout, and some of his findings - an Argentinian phone book replete with columns of Williamses; communities with names like Gaiman and Dolavon, stocked with tea shops and daffodils; the brothers Leonardo and Alejandro Jones, straight outta Betsw y Coed - are as unexpected and beguilingly odd as anything to be found on your standard SFA album. Goch doesn't stray too far from the remit of a record company promo - Rhys's latest, eminently melodic songs are carefully showcased - but "Separado!" might just also be approached as an enjoyably trippy, shambling episode of "Who Do You Think You Are?". "I was chased by an armadillo," our tourguide confesses at one point, "and I didn't know whether or not it was dangerous."

Lymes disease can also be pasted from mother to child in the womb as well as from man to woman or vis versa like a sexually transmitted disease.

Brandon W (es) wrote: Ever played a game called Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3? Remember the maps named Bakaara and Village? Well, welcome to the movie adaptation. Blood Diamond tells a very simple story that appeals to a wide audience. A man wanting freedom and a man wanting his family back after they were taken by African Militia must team up to find one of the biggest diamonds Sierra Leone has ever produced. An extremely simple set up mixed in with great performances, a great score and a terrifying setting. Sierra Leone in 1999 was a war driven place and this film showed the real dark and cruel side of life at that time. Putting likable characters into a situation like that just makes you care for them more. Leonardo DiCaprio is always great and Jennifer Connelly was good too but who stole the show was Djimon Hounsou as Solomon Vandy. Everytime he is on screen, you feel his raw emotion. Simply superb acting. Blood Diamond is one hell of a thrill ride!

Senor C (us) wrote: Saw this as a Brentwood release & there feels like there's a reel of film missing. Is there a more complete cut of this? I know this film has fallen into public domain but what the hell? The last 30 minutes of this is a fucking mess & ends like it was edited w/ a pair of scissors. The first 45 minutes or so are not bad & are filled w/ good atmosphere & on occasion lives up to its Blood Night title (axe attack is a great bloody sticky mess) but it becomes muddled after awhile. It starts of a little muddled but it's able to shake that. It's too bad because if cleaned up it could have stood up w/ Black Christmas in spreading that holiday cheer

James H (au) wrote: 26/100. Terribly unfunny, to the point of being offensive. This is one of Jerry Lewis' worst films, and considering how many bad movies he has made, that is saying a lot. The only thing worse than Jerry Lewis as an actor, is Jerry Lewis as a director. The only thing good or in the least bit memorable are a few of the small supporting performances, notably Kathleen Freeman. Otherwise this is a horrendously written and boring mess.
