Carolyn G (ag) wrote: It can only be considered a cliff notes version of the history of the environmental movement, but it did bring back some childhood memories I personally had of watching the emergence of the movement on our nightly news in the hinterland. I even learned a few tidbits about the early beginnings of the environmental movement beyond the standard Muir/Roosevelt dichotomy. A huge subject and I think talking about the movement rather than the issues was an excellent call...however taking a Ken Burns type direction as originally planned and delved into the entire breadth of this movement probably would have been a better choice than taking this cliff notes version. As for take home message...the movie clearly captures, probably unintentionally, the misguided direction taken by the environmental movement when it decided to merge with the social justice movement. Then environmentalism became all about people....just like the movie does.

Tyler R (ru) wrote: This movie was a mess. Had a unique concept for a comedy movie but it wasn't funny in the slightest bit. I watched for 45 mins and never laughed once. Which is unfortunate because it has a really great cast of actors. Very disappointed.

Johnny T (gb) wrote: There's nothing remotely arresting about the recycled and pointless roguish antics being drudged up once again in another tired and tedious Police Academy sequel. This bunch should lock the cell door and throw away the kooky keys! More of the same from the wackiest police force on the streets, and their newly recruited civilian helpers. The movie lacks a good plot, lacks to deliever bigs laughs but instead delievers eye rollings and boredom. The only thing watchable in this movie is Bobcat Goldthwait's character. The new players, like the original ones (who are still here in full force), are limited to one-shtick roles and are sometimes even more limited than that. VERDICT: "Rental" - (Mixed to Negative reaction). These films are only worth renting because of certain good things that are worth seeing, but are not worth paying at a theatre to see due to bad things that overcome anything good.
