Eric N (de) wrote: Understanding that this is straight-to-video, it's certainly one of the best examples of such. Unless you hated the first one, check this out. This is like a smaller, religion-oriented version of The Terminator. Of course it's a big step down but there's a lot to like too. This is THE Christopher Walken movie, more even than the original. More great moments.

D M (es) wrote: In the future, the world is over-crowded and in need of food. A pair of scientists (who are also lovers) work by themselves on a moon of Saturn researching food production. An off-balance astronaut travels to their base to get their research back on track (it doesnt appear that the two do any work ever). The astronaut (Harvey Keitel) brings with him a robot he can (barely) control with his thoughts. Harvey disrupts the scientists' idyllic lifestyle as he lusts for the female of the pair played by Farrah Fawcett (the robot wants her ass too). Not only does the new resident eat dogs, he has great pick-up lines such as "You have a great body. May I use it?" Even with the Terminator-like chase, this was really boring as all hell (and seeing Kirk Douglas' rear-end sure didnt help things!). Other similarities can be found with Alien and 2001 (plus the intro was a total Star Wars rip-off/tribute).

James H (it) wrote: All the "Road" films are great fun (except the last one). This is among the best. Bing Crosby and Bob Hope worked so effortlessly together, it's as if they are just clowning with each other at home. They clearly have a good time making films together and poking fun at each other. This is what makes their films so special.
Andy C (fr) wrote: Stands up for women, doesn't want them to be treated poorly. Of course, being the 1920s, this is because women are weak, and easily tricked, and faint a lot. OK, to be fair it's still a relatively progressive picture (she at least finds the balls to call out the man-whore).
