(kr) wrote: Not a fan of Morgan Spurlock, but the thought of real-life friends Will Arnett and Jason Bateman riffing with one another, whether scripted or not, drew me in. There's a decent amount of comedy in here; whether or not that was the intention is only known to the producers. But what I really took from this is that there are men who take grooming waaaaay too seriously.

(kr) wrote: Highly stagey and theatrical, but that's not my problem with it. Being totally simplistic and boring is.

(nl) wrote: First of all, why, if a bed eats people via a bubbly yellow acid, is there a need for chomping noises. Second, I couldn't help but notice that there are only about 12 lines of actual dialogue spoken in the entire movie, the rest being done by voice overs as the actor's just stare at each other. Even for 1977 cheap B-movie standards this was CHEAP and the most emotional acting came from the bed if that says anything. Ultimately, I'm left with more questions than anything else, not the least of which is Huh?

(au) wrote: Probably the first movie that I have seen that made me question a sense of science. Nothing was spectacular except for the concept itself. I would strongly recommend this movie to anyone who is willing to keep an open mind.

(ca) wrote: It is a struggle to get through the opening credits with the migraine inducing artwork and music, if you manage to suffer through this and decide to give the "film" a chance, you will be largely let down. The film has two memorable scenes muddled into a bunch of garbage. Two scenes, maybe 8 min, in the entire movie worth mentioning. I will add that there are several large chunks of the film where nothing happens, nothing, without spoiling anything, imagine watching a person walk down the street for two or three min.
