Manuel S (fr) wrote: A bore! Really deserves no stars! Tarr wants to show you how boring and repetitive the life's of these people were back in the 19th century by just laying his camera in place and shooting them doing mundane repetitive tasks and forcing his audience to watch for a painful and slow moving 2:26 minutes! Boring and tedious. It is almost like watching a full day security tape of people working at the yard and nothing important happens!

Alex M (gb) wrote: Pretty nice little movie. I love ensemble comedy pieces, and all the actors in this shine. Brenda Blethyn and Alfred Molina were a cute couple, and that guy and Noami Watts were funny. (i coulda sworn that was noami but there was smething about her bigger cleavage that was misleading and made me think NAHH CANT BE) but she was still great. Lee Evans and Christopher Walken were great together as the quirky silly competiing funeral directors. Very funny mild black comedy. BUT. i didnt like how the blatantly showed brenda's chest rising in the funeral scenes. That kinda ruined it for me, director COULDVE gotten better angles so it wasnt that obvious. But it was still great.
