(nl) wrote: Watching this film did not seem as though the viewer is following a plot, but instead is engrossed by the portrayal of the truly real and unpredictable world we live in. The humor and friendship between the characters felt authentic and unscripted which is hard to come by in films these days. I almost don't want to call these kids actors, as they truly are the characters in the film.

(it) wrote: Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer make The Lone Ranger fun and entertaining in spite of its stereotyped characters, confused plot, and overlong running time.
(mx) wrote: Low Budget film that includes some of the stuff I like. Blood, Guts, Paranormal and Ghosts. The acting wasn't all that great in this film. But overall it wasn't a BAD movie.
(us) wrote: A teenage, I want a better life than the gutter I am living in, movie that skips along the screen. Some fine British actors come together to do their damdest to knock this story together into a comprehensible and enjoyable ditty. Oh and sorry about the British trying to dance, err, groovy, we are not that good at it, however, it will make you laugh. Nibbles: Scones, Strawberry Jam, Cream.

It started out with Jonah, obviously not a part of the in crowd, being accepted by a close group of friends (Sara, Lucas, Troy and Erin) who are interested in him because he works at a pharmacy delivering prescriptions. He gets them drugs and becomes a part of their group. It follows on from there and the relationships that develop between them all and the consequences they bring upon themselves. The film included a very appealing and interesting use of music, some scenes almost playing like music videos in the way the music was at the forefront of the scene.

(gb) wrote: One of his finest films and definitely sports some of Woody's most poignant writing. Its three Oscars for Sir Michael Caine, Dianne Wiest and the screenplay are well deserved.
(de) wrote: A somewhat forgotten gem from Bunuel, and with this combination of themes it deals with: racism, paedophilia and religion, quite ahead of its time.
(it) wrote: Will take into consideration and maybe find to watch!
(au) wrote: If you've ever been lost in another culture, if you've ever felt fragile, you'll likely appreciate the sensibilities off is film, understated as they are at times. The perfect casting of Scarlet and Bill too.
