(mx) wrote: This movie was sooo cheesy that it was funny. Lots of scantly clad girls on show and some funny bits.
(ru) wrote: it has this play feel to it and that doesn't translate well into being a movie. wanted to like it but ended up boring me.
(gb) wrote: This movie was truly one of the better horror films released today...a sick and depraved movie...i loved it!
(nl) wrote: Such a great film. So many twist and turns! Thrilled from first minute to the last, such a surprising start!
(mx) wrote: This film... is genius. It made me laugh, it made me cry, and it made me cry with laughter.I didn't really cry.Me and my friend Emlyn watched this film, and as soon as it finished pressed 'play' AGAIN, but were thwarted in our efforts by a third friend with less taste than us.I learnt some useful things during this film, namely, if you show your breasts you will die, and any bizarre mutant creature babies can be explained as a 'premature' normal baby, as well as the fact that if you want to reveal a monster to the world, the best way to do it is putting the indistinct photo of a hand in a newspaper, rather than the clear picture of the entire body and head you took at the same time. All in all, I would watch this movie again. But that doesn't mean it's good.

(ag) wrote: A difficult film to access because the characters just feel too removed from any notion of common sense and their motivations don't really amount to a hill of beans; that is the point however and all of the characters in this film are a little nuts - apart from Seymour Cassel's Moskowitz who is downright deranged. It has Cassavetes's endearing penmanship all over it and it is genuinely funny in places, but even as a huge fan, I think he's made much better than this. This 'crazy' love story ought not to be your first foray into the writer/director's unique and fascinating work so take a rain check until you decide how you feel about some of his other films; I reckon only true aficionados will get anything out of this.
(it) wrote: I can't help it i love this one too (not just Dangerous Liasons). Guilty pleasure...everybody have some...
(nl) wrote: A brilliantly fascinating documentary exploring the journey of director Alejandro Jodorowsky and his notoriously un-produced adaptation of Frank Herbert's sci-fi classic Dune. The filmmakers and interviewees don't have to work too hard to prove what a monumetous acheivement in film that this long defuct project would've been.

I have to watch it alone in the privacy of my van, while my kids are at hockey practice, because of its homoSexual content. I would like to show it to my children once they are adults who can deal with such things. I get so emotionally involved because of the oscaar worthy perfomance from the mom, the sister and jenny herself. The dad was alright, too. I was really hoping Jenny would listen to her parents by the end of the movie, but I like the sad ending. The scene where the mom yells and slams the table is beautiful and the quirky and joful music really adds a bipolar air to an already classic film. (I am bipolar. The grass thing was so good it will stick with me until I have GRASS growing over my grave. The grass on my grave will be green though beacuse my teenege daughter hates me. :( Movie is nice escape, puts me through heaven and hell and lets me live out my guilty fantasy of wanting to be a lezbien. don't tell hubby!!! lol hot hot hot
