This was a very touching documentary on the mindset of a Finnish man, able only to share his inner feelings in these exceptional circumstances. However, this film was playing into the very stereotype of every Finn being a depressed man with a sad backstory - not many of the episodes had t happy story to tell. Amongst them, the tales of a the Santas as well as the story about the orphan bear. The photography was beautiful but the direction a bit slow. And, with very few exceptions the sauna ovens were uncharacteristically cold (where was the steam?). To many foreigners, it mayalso come as surprise that for us Finns a sauna has totally an other meaning than a sex-laden bathhouse.

Brandon W (nl) wrote: Paul Greengrass's United 93 is a fantastic movie that is the best, and most tragic, that's related to 9/11. I can see why they used different and new actors that you never heard of as this is pretty much an reenactment film, and the acting is really great. The writing is very well-written and never felt like exposition as this this is what people would actually say. It's very smart, and it gets very intense at times. It's actually nice to see what's going on outside of the Twin Towers as it gives a perspective of what are they going to do. The climax is the most tense part in which you have no idea if they would survive or not, even though everyone knew what happened that day. United 93 is a riveted movie that makes me wish that it made just as enough money as Oliver Stone's World Trade Center.

Sara W (gb) wrote: I knew going in that the history was going to be wrong, artistic license and all. The animation is horrible after the beauty of the original.

Devin W (fr) wrote: Started of a bit slow, but got much better as the minutes rolled on.

Steve G (ru) wrote: I see this as the sequel to Casablanca. Rick (going by Harry now) picks up, moves on after Ilsa, and meets his true love. Great flick.

David T (jp) wrote: A really unique script. This film is a good argument that less can be more. A real thinker. I'll keep an eye out for more Leone Marucci films. Also a lot of players in this give some of their strongest performances in years. Walken and Tione Johnson are ones to look for specifically.

Faith D (gb) wrote: It was some sexist bullshit. Stalking is not romantic.

Kieran F (ag) wrote: I think his intentions where good when he made the film but I thought it turned out Over long and boring. Personally speaking I preferred Schindler's List and Flags of our fathers. I thought those two(although long) seemed to have more...power to them. Now...I realize I maybe a little bias cause as I've said before I'm not a Spike Lee fan but that doesn't mean I won't check out his films in hope that he one day makes a good one(or at least one I'll enjoy) but sadly I just can't get interested in his films and every time I see one I just go "Meah" on them. This though is one of my least favorites and I really regret watching it. I Don't remember much of the film because I slept through most of it due to the over long length of it.
