Robby B (kr) wrote: What a mind-funk. The Signal is a crazy film which sets up showing a collection of people who become homicidal maniacs, but it's from their perspective as their perceptions of events are twisted and contorted while they have moments of realization and regret only to return to complete insanity as they kill and mutilate again. It's a fascinating concept of a movie. The only problem is, it goes on and on, and it turns us into pretzels trying to keep up to the point that we don't know which way we are going and begin not to care.

Wu C (au) wrote: Decent erotic film noir thriller with a recognizable cast. Ellen Barkin looks so good in this and it's funny to see her tower over Pacino. It's kind of dated now, but it was a big hit when first released in 89'.

Justa C (br) wrote: This was actually a very good watch! Despite what the twisted so called critics rated, it had style, suspense, great plot, and good acting by a fairly unknown cast other than super star Jamie Lee Curtis. This one I recommend, great watch for the guys with your girl ;)

Lucas G (ag) wrote: Everywhen's premise is somewhat poorly worked and the cast isn't all that memorable either.

Itamar K (es) wrote: A companion piece to Smoke rather than a sequel, and as such it works well enough, but the fact that it's made mostly of outtakes and improvisations is easily detectable, and it feels far too disjointed, while still trying rather feebly for a coherent storyline, especially in the epilogue. However, the acting is good enough that many scenes shine through, some of the cameos feel forced but most of them are spot-on (brilliant appearances from Madonna, Roseanne and Jim Jarmusch especially) and it's enjoyable for fans of the original Smoke as well as Jarmusch fans, although all too often it feels like a Jarmusch carbon copy that doesn't have Jim's unique spark and vision.
