Jason S (jp) wrote: I'm genuinely conflicted about this movie. On one hand, it's absolutely god-awful, but on the other it's one of the best social experiences you can ever have if you watch it with friends.

Joan A (us) wrote: 5 stars - every man, woman, and child should see it. As democracy appears to be losing ground in the U.S. for more than one reason, the story of how women got the vote inspires one to fight for what is right and just for every citizen.

Mitchell R (fr) wrote: this is the way that movies should be made. this is truly independent filmmaking, not crap like little miss sunshine.

Jei P (us) wrote: fell in love with my Mr.Redford from this movie on!!!

Nicky S (au) wrote: A suspenseful film with very good cinematography, a good story, and solid songs. It has a nice twist ending and good acting too. However, the pace is a bit slow and the ending is a bit over the top melodramatic. Still, a very good classic Bollywood film.

Andrey B (nl) wrote: Trashy movie, though with haunting dialogue.

J Brigham H (es) wrote: It is well-realized that the western genre has become a real scarcity in modern Hollywood, but within that scarcity is another scarcity: the "fun western". The few westerns that Hollywood still churns out occasionally are of the "Oscar western" variety; serious westerns, i.e. UNFORGIVEN and TRUE GRIT, that feature complex themes and characterizations. I don't mean to slight those films at all, but the rollicking western adventure is has strong entertainment value, and it's a shame that there's so very few. QUIGLEY DOWN UNDER is one such entertainment-focused western adventure that may be fluff, but it's such damn good fluff. Selleck is very suitable as the archetypal cowboy hero, but it's Rickman who steals the show as the coolly sadistic land baron villain. The weak link in the mix is San Giacomo as the tragic Crazy Cora who's maybe a little overly crazy at times and becomes a bit annoying and awkward.
