Private U (ru) wrote: Before you watch this film, you should be familiar with the documentaries of Werner Herzog, otherwise, a lot of the humour will be totally wasted on you. I thought it was really really good, thoroughly enjoyable and very funny! On paper its really shouldn't have worked, a mockumentary of a documentary, brilliant!

Francisco S (au) wrote: Unoriginal, very predictable, weak argument and little credible, Soul Surfer brings to us a schmaltzy story where that nor the charismatic characters nor the stunning waves can rescue.
Aman A (ca) wrote: A bit safe, the movie had more drama than spice. Without much meat and action, this movie is more a love story than anything else. That's not what I had expected. The thrill and the rush of money and power is absent. The guilt of greed is nonexistent. The movies moves like a placid roller coaster, one with the promises of loops but none when you get on and ends just like that, a soft stop, flaccid. Aah, give it a miss unless you are a real fan of Douglas and want to seem onscreen one last time before he hangs his worn out boots.
